Love is NOT a feeling. You cannot fall in or out of love, it is not giving gifts or presents “to show how much I love you.” Love is patience, faithfulness, forgiveness, righteousness. Love is the fulfilling of the law. If love is a feeling then very few people love each other.

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
